Lifesten Health’s Co-founder Peace Iraguha Addresses Gender and Digital Revolution at UN Women’s Generation Equality Forum in Rwanda

Lifesten Health’s Co-founder, Peace Iraguha, was recently invited to the Generation Equality Forum UN Women in Rwanda to share her insights on gender, digital revolution, and Rwanda’s commitments towards bridging the gap between the two. The conversation highlighted the progress Rwanda has made in achieving digital inclusion and reducing gender disparities, with a vision of a more digitized society where both men and women can thrive in building ventures, solutions, and enterprises.

“I believe that there is a strong correlation between digital inclusion and gender equality. A digitized society can provide a level playing field for men and women to excel in their respective fields. It is essential to ensure that women have access to the same digital tools, training, and opportunities as their male counterparts,” said Peace.

The event was a part of a series of events organized by UN Women to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.

“Rwanda has made significant strides towards gender equality, and it is inspiring to see the government’s commitment towards bridging the digital gender gap. The private sector, including startups like Lifesten Health, have a crucial role to play in creating an ecosystem that supports and empowers women entrepreneurs,” added Peace.

Lifesten Health is committed to supporting gender equality and empowering women entrepreneurs. The company’s incentive-based wellness programs are designed to make healthcare more accessible and convenient for individuals, including women, to take control of their health.
